Expanding Project Baseline

GUE launched Project Baseline in 2009 as a means to document baseline conditions in uncharted underwater environments. Inspiration for Project Baseline grew from the experience of GUE principles while utilizing volunteer divers in collaboration with scientists, government and concerned citizens.

GUE is now carrying Project Baseline across the Atlantic on a well-equipped support vessel, combining the capabilities of AUV sonar vehicles, technical dive teams, and two 300-meter depth-rated submersibles equipped with high resolution Blue View Sonar.
